This policy explains how LegalSkills NZ collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles (IPPs).

We collect only what we need to give you access to the product and to run the service: your email address and (where provided) your name; payment metadata from our payment processor, Stripe (we do not store your full card details); your IP address and user agent; and basic analytics about how you use the site. We collect this information directly from you and from Stripe when you purchase (consistent with IPPs 1–4).
We use your information to deliver your purchase and provide access to the skills library, to send you your access link and service messages, to provide support, to detect and prevent fraud or misuse, and (where you have agreed) to send you occasional product updates. We use your information only for these purposes (IPP 10).
We disclose personal information only as needed to operate the service — for example to Stripe for payment processing, to our hosting and email providers, and where required by New Zealand law. We do not sell your personal information (IPP 11).
Some of our service providers (including hosting, payment and email infrastructure) store or process data on servers located outside New Zealand. Before disclosing personal information overseas we take reasonable steps, consistent with IPP 12, to ensure the recipient is subject to privacy protections comparable to those under the Privacy Act 2020, or we rely on your authorisation. By purchasing, you acknowledge these overseas disclosures.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you (IPP 6) and to request correction of it (IPP 7). To make a request, email leonardo@rsabr.adv.br and we will respond within the statutory timeframe.
We take reasonable safeguards to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, use or disclosure (IPP 5). We retain your information only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified (IPP 9).
